Our Mission
Excel is a sports brand located in Maine, United States created by the former professional soccer player Yuri Nascimento. Excel’s mission is to support soccer athletes & goalkeepers to achieve excellence in their performance on and off the field.
Advocating for quality coaching, quality & affordable gear for all, and athlete’s mental health: This is EXCEL. The 3 pillars we use as our main foundation to support our athletes in enhancing their performance are:

Our gloves are created bygoalkeepers for goalkeepers. Wear the same material and grip that the professional goalkeepers wear. Every detail in each line is developed with the best material with the goal to help you to excel in your performance. The creation of gloves is based on the experience of professional goalkeepers that understand what components a pair of gloves need to influence one's performance positively. Excel is a dream coming true for Yuri. He grew up surrounded by poverty in Brazil, where having food was hard, let alone a good pair of gloves. For someone who once could not afford his gloves, he developed the dream of making the best pair of gloves a goalkeeper could dream of wearing. Yuri wanted to make sure that these gloves would be accessible for all. That's what we offer. Accessibility to professional goalkeeper gloves for all. Our goal is to keep developing our gloves with new lines year after year to keep helping our athletes to be the best they can be.
On the coaching side we also have our goalkeeper academy. We provide private and small group training for goalkeepers and field players. We work with goalkeepers & players at all levels – youth, high school, college, and professional – no matter the player’s skill level we are always willing to develop personalized training sessions to help them achieve their goals.
